Hello again,This time I will present to you the Marzifun.  I wanted to create a sophisticated cocktail that will be unique in terms of ingredients and to send a familiar yet a slightly different experience while drinking it.  I took inspiration from different marzipan candies made with fruits and chocolate and added mint to add freshness to the cocktail.I used port wine to bring the flavor of red fruit in a sophisticated way that compliments the flavors and creates a light and velvety drink. you will understand

you will understand
Hello again,
I hope you are ready for an extra delicious cocktail “ you will understand” , this is a very special cocktail for me too.   I created it for my girlfriend back in the day.  Every time we used to argue she used to tell me “ when you will grow up- you will understand”  Basically the cocktail is inspired by the concept of love, I wanted it to contain special ingredients and encompass all flavors; so it’s a spicy, sweet-sour cocktail with salted rim a slightly bitter finnish.  Ironically, she never got the chance to taste it;  too bad.  Read more…

Dear Cocktail lovers,
So glad to see you again.  In order to bring to you the next amazing cocktail,
I teamed up with the Drink Wiz ,Pamela Wiznitzer, who also shares the passion for libations,
You can read more about her and her work in the field at Liquid Encouragement and at Metro.  If  in NYC, you can try some of her delicious cocktails at the King restaurant
Using Popcorn, dark rum, angostura bitters and chardonnay we created the “pop sour” ; a negative  twist on a new York sour where we used a float of white wine over a dark cocktail.  Popcorn being not very dominant in flavor, we used Popcorn syrup and also infused our rum with popcorn. Read more…
